Become a Community Partner

What does becoming a Community Partner mean?

Becoming a Community Partner with GDAY means that you support the mission of GDAY and want to partner with us in strengthening the overall health and well being of the Groton and Dunstable communities.

GDAY receives the majority of it’s funding through a variety of grants.  These traditional grants have allowed us to expand our programming, however, they cannot be applied to communication and promotion of events.

The mission of GDAY is to reinforce healthy and respectful behavior among teens. We support programs that inform students, from elementary through high school, and adults about the risks associated with certain behaviors.  GDAY believes that a healthy community addresses the diverse needs of its youth and reinforces their value to the community.

GDAY partners with public and private school administrators, local law enforcement, town government agencies, and the Emerson Hospital to bring informative and effective programming to the community.  Programs that GDAY currently coordinates within the community include Community Reading Day, Community Circle discussion programs , Developmental Assets Initiative , Red Flags books , GDAY Days (mini heath fairs) at the Middle School, the Safe Prom initiative, the Parent to Parent Network , and the Half Day Initiative.

GDAY works to draw upon the wealth of talent among our community neighbors, health and education professionals and local business leaders.  GDAY is a grass roots effort that has worked to cultivate a strong base within the Groton and Dunstable communities, and is often recognized by similar community and prevention alliances across the country for our success and creativity.

We hope that you will accept this invitation to become a Community Partner with GDAY and strengthen the overall health and well being of our great community committed to the future of our youth .    We appreciate any size donation, and your contribution to GDAY is tax deductible.   Please mail your donation directly to GDAY at PO Box 328 Groton, Massachusetts 01450.
