Description of Organization: Seven Hills at Groton is a pediatric skilled nursing community that provides long term nursing care and intensive habilitative therapies to children and young adults. There is a private, special education school for individuals under 22 and an adult day hab program onsite. The school serves the residents of Seven Hills at Groton as well as children from surrounding communities whose unique learning needs, complex medical and developmental disabilities can best be met within our multi-disciplinary learning environment.

Volunteering Opportunities: Volunteers at Seven Hills assist residents/students in playing board games, playing interactive games, participating in adaptive sports, reading, arts and crafts, etc. We welcome volunteers, who have unique talents, such as expertise in academic areas, music, and/or arts and crafts.

Requirements for Volunteers: All volunteers are required to complete and application, participate in a tour interview and have a CORI form submitted and cleared, have a TB over the last year and a flu shot (during the typical flu season). Both the TB and flu shots can be provide by the Seven Hills at Groton through a pre-arranged appointment with the health nurse.
